im back to PEN.

long long way home! bloody Jetstar changed my flight schedule tht I gota overnite at Singapore.

so this trip was sponsored by my boss. otherwise i won't come back.

here's my schedule:

AKL-SIN-KUL-PEN-BKK-CNX-BKK-PEN-KUL-AKL

spent 1 week in thailand exploring Bangkok & Chiangmai. went to the Golden Triangle where Thai, Laos & Myanmar's border meets. that was quite interesting. i drank snake whisky for the first time.

then came to Penang visiting & catching up with relatives and friends.

time flies. going back to kiwiland soon :( its my 3rd year im not spending CNY with family. sad sad sad :( grandma was disappointed.

Yeah .......... i got my work visa approved!!!!
i got rejected 2 weeks ago bcoz of my health certiciate & school qualification issue. was busy settling it, rushing here & there ...... but its all worth it when i got back my passport with the visa endorsed on it :)

Mendy is going home on 11.08.2011.
hope she enjoyed her stay although she spent most of her time at Angie's Kitchen. but she's rich now. LOL.
i'll be alone again for the rest of the year :(

Day 792

got a misscall from mom and a text from mendy in d midst of my work. must be something urgent. den received a text from guat.

sad news. guat's mom passed away! my deepest condolences to guat and family. i was only on the phone with guat on saturday to sort of congratulate her for her sudden wedding banquet. doing it because of auntie's condition. so sad to hear that auntie has lost her battle to cancer. but it may be the best way to end her suffering. it has never crossed my mind that my last trip back home to Malaysia would be the last encounter with auntie. i have known her for years while in high school. she was totally a different person when i visit her last December. i could see her suffering but can never feel how painful it is for her to battle this illness. auntie has been brave all these while trying to be positive with the care of her daughter and son, family and friends. Gohonzon will surely protect her in heaven. may auntie rest in peace.

i feel sorry that i couldn't be by guat's side everytime she needed a pat on her shoulder. her father's passing and this time her mom. must be very hard for her. not easy to travel pen-kl-pen-kl these few months while taking care of auntie. i salute her being so filial. all i can do is to send daimoku .... life is so short. i shall dedicate this photo to auntie and uncle.

Magnitude 8.9 earthquake rocks Japan 11th March 2011

The quake triggers a tsunami that threatens much of the Pacific. In Tokyo, all trains are halted and plumes of smoke rise over the skyline. It's the biggest quake in Japan in 140 years, with more than 50 believed dead and scores missing. will send prayers to Japan.

2day was so bad luck for me.
1: colleague bang into me and spilt hot water on my leg. luckilly i wear long pants.
2: i kicked a table accidently while ppl are eating
3: nearly fell off the stairs. jus suddenly!?
4: nearly cut by a scissors
5: broke a glass

we created too much trouble to earth. now is d time to pay back!

Sad news! A massive earthquake has just striked Chrischurch. at least 100 ppl remain trapped under buildings and estimated 65 dead. RIP.
praying for you .....

Chinese New Year just ended. but still can wish my readers Gong Xi Fa Cai!

just handed in my fine art assignment on Friday. thx to lecturer Leanne for her brilliant idea that my final image made a good turning point. otherwise, I would have handed in rubbish!

its Saturday. off day. went to Sylvia Park with train. 1st time riding a train. met Masao. we had coffee and went shopping together at SP & Dressmart. He was kind to give me a lift back home.

went to Latern Festival with Satomi after that.

my new friend from M'sia, Jac Yue, is going back this week for good. gonna miss her. all the best in M'sia.
